YOUTH WORKSHOP: 1.5 hours
Print with Lego! This printmaking workshop is perfect for youth who want to roll up their sleeves and have fun with Lego and ink.
A fun, unique workshop for creative imaginations that mixes the old with the new! Participants will use Lego tiles to build their own unique relief image. This will then be printed using our oldest heritage press in the printery - the 1860 Albion Press. Explore the process of print, get inky fingers and meet other artistic minds in this hands on workshop.
Participants learn in a small, friendly group and will take home beautifully printed original works of art on paper.

COURSE DETAILS
Morning and afternoon classes available:
Wednesday 2nd October 2024: 9:30am - 11:00am
Wednesday 2nd October 2024: 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Location: The Armarie Room, Founders Park, Nelson
Instructor: Renee Hadlow
Experience level: No experience necessary. Recommended for ages 6+
Limited to 6 places, bookings essential.
All materials and equipment are included in the course fee.
In the workshop wear closed toe shoes and some old clothes. Long hair should be tied back and jewellery removed when operating the printing presses.
Refunds or cancellations cannot be accepted within 72 hours of the course starting. You can however transfer your enrolment to another person who would like to participate.
The Armarie Room will reschedule any classes that cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances.
