SoftCut is formulated for easy cutting and is ideal for all users, from beginners to experienced printmakers. SoftCut holds fine detail without crumbling, yet withstands the pressures of a printing press. Finely smooth on one side, textured on the other, SoftCut is both double sided and flexible. Each surface will give you a different printed result. The light coloured surface can be drawn on with pencil and allows you to clearly see any traced designs. To transfer an image, simply rub soft pencil on the back of an artwork, place on the SoftCut block, and trace your artwork using a hard pencil or pen. Carbon and transfer papers do not work on SoftCut blocks.
